Did anyone catch this sentence from the USA Today article? "Mitchell designed the packaging, which features examples of her paintings, a book and extensive liner notes."
Does she mean a "booklet" within a CD jewel box or is one of Joni's book project coming out with "A Travelogue"? Oh, I forgot Wayne Shorter! Again, holy cow! Timetable for those napping: November 2002: "A Travelogue", 2-CD set in stores. January 2003: Alison Ander's film documentary about the making of "A Travelogue", (tentative). March 2003: Public Broadcasting System's (PBS) film about Joni is due to be aired in their American Masters Series. What could be better? Maybe a handful of dates in February? :) I'm feeding the "piggybank" tonight, saying my prayers, and crossing myself. Lamadoo now playing (np): Herbie's solo on "I'm Happy When I'm With You" ps, I still think "Both Sides, Again: the Sequel" is an appropriate nickname!
