i think Turbulent Indigo(94) is joni's most "feminist" release - Magdalene
Laundries and Not to Blame in particular. she has quoted shakespeare in
interviews saying "the play can catch the conscious of the king", i think
these songs are a good example of that.
on morning becomes eclectic "94 (available in cd from bob muller) she
discusses this theory in length when asked about sinead's ripping the pope's
picture - she considered that act too divisive. i think that interview would
be very helpful.
Count me in on those who would like to read this when its done
