In the late 70's Joni in fact was in a film as an actress.
"Love" was the title and it was a collection of shorts. Liv Ullmann was in
on of the segments. It was never released to my knowledge. Joni's was
a piece in which she played a Back man (see the cover of DJRD) with a boom box
wigged out on Miles Davis - or something like that. She never had anything
good to say about the project to my recollection. I have tried to find it to
no avail.
I believe there is a story about her going to a party in Black paint - anyway
she was fixated on the idea for a while, as DJRD exhibits.
I stand to be corrected on this.
