I DONT THINK SO...I know for a fact that Joni has publically and privately supported GLBT causes such as anti defimation & AIDS causes... she was only trying to say that if you speak with a deep voice people think you are a lesbian ..which is stupid ..but that was Joni's point.. that "americans", meaning the mojority of us believe that a woman w/ a deep voice is a lesbian (like a man with a high voice would be considered gay)..its hard to pick apart an interview because she doesnt have much time to elaborate...Just my thoughts. as a gay man i understand that we as gay people need to be sensitive but lets focus on the REAL homophobes...
