Hey my beautiful Listas!
I'm running behind the times as usual, and for all I know this has
been discussed already, but tonight I finally had time to sit down and
read the Rolling Stone women issue. Now don't kill me, but if I have to
hear one more time about how screwed over Joni has been by the business,
I'm going to poke my eyes out. I wish she'd quit talking about it every
interview -- it's either that, or something about how dismal today's
music is. It just makes me cringe, because in every article, she's
coming across as bitter and cold, with none of the witty, kind Joan we
all know and love. And, all in all, considering that it has been a good
25 years since she had an album that turned a profit, she's doing pretty
good -- LOL, I don't mean this to sound snotty as it sounds -- I'm just
saying that I've noticed since at least TI that most articles are
focused on her negativity, and it irks me.
Anyway, that's my rant for the night.
