I think it's great you adopted an animal.I volunteered at the local humane society for over 2 years with cats. I still do things like make beds for the cats and give a donation at Christmas but after two years I just emotionally couldn't deal with all the animals who had to be put to sleep. I , myself, took two cats from the shelter. They are 10 and 5. They are named Hella and Hannah and I couldn't find two nicer animals anywhere. So thank you for saving a nice dog.
