I'm extremely disappointed and angry at the Democrats, too, for not speaking up and making it clear WHY they've chosen to be Democrats. Their trying to get along with the conservatives and fuzz up the differences was not a good move. The Republicans, as led by conservative Bush, did so well in the elections because they acted like they're politically moderate good guys that just want to get along with everyone. Bush has been the least compromising president I've ever known. So the Republicans dumbed it down and people bought it. And the Democrats did not do anything effective to counter that. I'm not ready to give up on the Democrats, but I can understand your frustration and anger at what's happened and at the whole system. Debra Shea
