The things I remember about Meri... His trip to SF was the catalyst for the first ever face-to-face JMDL meetings (I think). Wally B, MG Val, Leslie and Steve Nixon were among the guests. Meri is related to Emmylou Harris...and provided me with some rare Gram Parsons recordings.... Meri was the voice of reason and grace ...but also wickedly funny...
