I have long been a great defender of Woody Allen's films but have been very disappointed recently (since 'Crimes and Misdemeanours', really) about the quality overall and I find it distasteful and unnecessary for him to use this kind of language, especially from one who previously weighed and crafted his words so carefully. If anyone out there can confirm or deny the accuracy of my comments I'd be happy to hear about it.
