Well, people like to say that bits of Idiot Wind, like bits of Tangled Up In Blue, are addressed to various different people as the song goes on. It's hard to listen to the whole thing without mainly hearing a gloriously bitter lost love song, though. Joni singing it would, of course, put a new spin on it.
