Add "2000 Miles" by Pretenders.  There's a lot of beauty in this song, 
(Outside/Under the purple sky/Diamonds in the snow...Sparkle) but the long 
distance relationship theme set against the onset of the holiday season 
creates an undeniable ache:  "He's gone 2000 miles/ It's very far",  and "I 
miss you", and "The children were singing/He'll be back at Christmas time."
