Holley had the same reaction...she found it painful to listen to though
she
also loves her voice.


        This reminds me of how Barbra Streisand got her reputation of
being such a b*tch.
        After recording Barbra Joan Streisand (containing perhaps my fave
ballad of all time "Since I Fell For You") babs objected to their
removing her *noisy* inhalations. It probably cost Columbia million$ to
restore Barbra's breathing to this great record.
        This only proves how very out of touch most record producers are!
        Re: Joni's statue. If she doesn't have a cigarette in her hand,
the so-called "artist" will fail to capture the full spirit of Joni's
true personality. Is this not crystal clear by now, despite all of the
California crusaders overreacting to personal pollution?
        Where do you draw the line, SUV hogs of the world?
