Okay, Walt, I won't dog Mariah, if you stop calling
Billy Joel a hack. ;)

Afterall, are all the organizations who bestowed the
following honors on him somehow deceived or perhaps
hypnotized by his gag-inducing earnestness?

Grammy Legend Award
Johnny Mercer Award - Songwriters Hall Of Fame
James Smithson Bicentennial Medal of Honor
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction
RIAA Diamond Award
American Music Awards - Award of Merit
ASCAP Founders Award
BMI Career Achievement Award
Billboard Century Award
Honorary Doctorate - Berklee College of Music
Inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame

It's all right with me if you don't like his music,
but a hack he is not.

Jenny
