1997: From a post to the list by Pat Mead: "Joni Mitchell attended the Bob Dylan
concert at the tiny El Rey Theater in LA. Joni watched from a small balcony at the
back of theater where all the seating has been reserved for VIP guests. After the
opening set by Sheryl Crow she worked her way through the crowd on the floor (no mean
feat) and disappeared backstage, presumably to visit with Bob. Before Bob took the
stage she reappeared and found her way back to the VIP area. I think she may have
been accompanied by Kilauren but it was hard to see the balcony celebs very well from
my spot in the crowd near the front."
