1974: Joni joined Linda Ronstadt, Carly Simon and James Taylor singing Christmas
carols and "songs of joy and peace" on the streets of Los Angeles.
1996: The New York Post was one of the first to break the story of Joni's search for
her daughter, saying "...so far her search is fruitless. 'I've been blocked so far by
the people who have the (adoption) papers'"
