Well, now I'm really curious. I'm quite familiar with that 1974 Dylan recording: I owned it for many years, and played the stuffings out of it my last couple of years in college. My first reaction upon hearing the song last night on Crossing Jordan, though, was, "Coooool! Interesting new version!" Not for one second did I think it was the original, or Dylan. Of course, I was multi-tasking at the time (I'm throwing that out just in case I'm wrong. ;-) ) Anyone else who saw the ep want to weigh in? If it wasn't Bob, I'd really love to know who it was!
