Dear friends, well-wishers, and the mildly interested:
I'd like to invite you to a different kind of Fred gig. I have been commissioned by Cantor Aviva Katzman, at Temple Sholom in Chicago, to compose a new work based on the Song At The Red Sea, scored for four voices, saxophone, piano, bass, and percussion. It will be premiered at the Fifteenth Annual Cantorbs Concert, along with another composition I had previously written, as well as other works selected by Cantor Katzman and performed by a group of great musicians. I hope you can join us there ... free admission for all!
