Nice post, Azeem. You're saying there are anti war marches in the UK this weekend, too? They are scheduled in major cities all over the US, too. I find it an amazingly convienient coincidence that we are getting all these warnings targeting the very day that these protests, which may very well be the largest in recent history, are taking place. Peaceniks, stay home! Watch sports! Take prozac! (Or Duff beer) What a coup for the hawks if something does happen. A bunch of war resisters would be killed, the bad guys would be really, unquestionalbly evil, and opposition to military action would be broken. On the other hand, why would the Iraqis or Al Queda want to weaken anti war efforts? They wouldn't. Fishy if you ask me. RR
