This really struck a chord with me because as a kid I would leave my own birthday party to be alone. My mom would go all out and plan this big do and then she'd find me two hours into the party up in my room drawing dinosaurs in my sketchbook, or reading Batman comics in the closet, wishing it would all end. I hated being the center of attention and suffering from that "all eyes on you" syndrom. My birthday is two days after Christmas so by the 27th I'm usually ready to pack up my gifts and hibernate for a while. -Andrew Yahoo!
