NPR reported this evening that at a meeting of 50 African nations there
was unanimous support given to France's position in the UN on Iraq.
As we have been keeping track with who is supporting who, I think that
having almost all or all of Africa expressing support of France was very
cool.
I tried to find a link to the NPR story but my real audio player is
working tonight and I couldn't find today's story on the NPR web site;
they still had posted the story that was reported yesterday (Thursday)
on the opening of this conference. Maybe tomorrow today's story will be up.
Gage and I saw Lord of the Rings - 2 Towers tonight, finally. We drove
to Grand Rapids and spent a few bucks on the more expensive theater,
including lots of video games. However, the local theater is still
showing Kangaroo Jack so faced with seeing that again, I was happy to
drive for 45 minutes, pay 50% more for a movie, and drop $15 on video
games just to avoid Kangaroo Jack.
Gage also has decided he really likes Jay-Z and 50 Cent, as well as D12.
And we played baseball, had a few snowball fights, and rapped and made
plans for summer trips to Chicago to see the Sox. When he raps, he has
great moves. I hope he is the next great white rapper so he can support me.
Well, tomorrow is another day and another 24 hours of thinking of things
to do to keep from seeing Kangaroo Jack. Pray for me.
Vince
