Overanalyzing maybe? I heard the delightful I Don't Know a couple months ago, and had it pegged as a winner right away. It's a song that reminds you of the kind of magic perhaps you felt the first time you heard Joni.
It may not have the hook of a standard pop tune, but it's melody is haunting and pervasive. It leaves an indelible mark on my soul. I thought it very humble of the writer to say "I'm so young, and this is so fast! I promise to catch up!" Sorry I forgot his name.
