i have always loved the cover of Ladies of the Canyon...i love the b&w
sketch of her with colorful imagery underneath on a background of
white....it is a perfect visual reflection of the simplicity & relative
innocence of that time & place (late 60's, early 70's in laurel canyon)...

i have always had a particular fondness for that era both musically &
culturally, wishing i could have somehow wandered into that music scene but
in actuality living a somewhat parallel existence in another canyon about
100 miles north...

well you know, as they say, you can take the girl out of the flowerpower but
you can't take the flowerpower out of the girl...or something like that...

i also feel the cover perfectly reflects the music/lyrics within & perfectly
reflects who joni was at that time...

>>Which is her "best" album cover, and why? This may be better worded as
"Which
is your favourite", as this will always be subjective....

Which cover best describes the musical and/or lyrical content of that album?

And which cover best describes Joni as a person?<<
