I always look forward to this night.  the crowd was unusually thick, might be
because all the airplay on KGSR or the fact they had the show on Austin City
Limits a few weeks ago.

Needless to say it was very good.  The emcee was Butch Hancock (Flatlanders).
He did about six songs then a couple for Townes son JT.  He was followed by a
couple of musicians then a fellow by the name of Derral Gleason took to the
state for "The Hole".  He did a great job and was given quite the applause for
the evening.

Joe Ely and Jimmy La Fave came on during the second set.  The night was
awesome.
