When I first heard the Mendoza treatment of the song Both Sides Now
with its Terry Riley feel of circular motion I felt  that it was done
with the intention of  giving the same feel as The Circle Game and its 
"what
goes around comes around" theme. While hearing it again on the CBC program
tonight I felt that even more strongly and wouldn't be surprised if the 
idea was Joni's.
I can hear Joni saying to Vince "Make it go around and round".
