To see Joni's joy with her daughter and grandchildren was the "coup de grace" for me as a watcher. It made me happy to see her so happy.
And the Saskatchewan face? Did you see it there just before the end? When she was sitting beside her daughter and Kilauran leaned over and hugged her, she makes a quick face -- kindof a "what's the big deal / silly / self-conscious" face -- that's it. Of course the show was too short; they didn't even mention Night Ride Home or others. But there is no way they could satisfy us diehards unless they covered every moment of her life, every song and every album, and then some. I can hardly wait to watch it again.
