Thanks for expounding on your point, Azeem. I understand what you're saying and having 
thought about it I now tend to agree with you. And I guess you're right in that the 
guy can be perceived as a stalker/obsessed with her, but I felt for him all the same. 
That's the genius of Almodovar's writing and directing I would say.
