This is a brief and (sadly) not-handcrafted note to announce that a 90 minute biography for television entitled "Joni MItchell: Woman of Heart and Mind" will be broadcast nationwide on the PBS series "American Masters" on Wednesday, April 2, 2003. In most areas, the broadcast time will be at 9:00 PM. I worked on this program first as a consultant, and later as a co-producer, for over a year, helping to research, locate and compile the film, video, music, spoken word, photography, documents, etc. that make up the film, in addition to conducting the main interview along with the director, Susan Lacy. I am both pleased and honored that over 120 of my photographs spanning over 25 years were chosen for inclusion in the program. I hope that you'll have the opportunity to watch the program (I don't know when it may be re-run, but a very slightly longer version of the program will be released later this year on DVD and VHS).
