Polls say it's between 60-70%. About 45% say they think the war is going
well (whatever the hell that means).

Hello everyone,

I've been seeing reports on Spanish TV that the American population is about
70% por the Iraqi war. I know these official figures aren't usually
reliable,
but I was wondering what others think a more reliable figure would be.

The father of an american friend of mine living in Madrid came to Spain this
week with a group of 19 senior US citizens (aged between 75 and 80) on a
quick "see Spain tour". He was the tour guide. Only ONE person in the whole
group was pro this war, and she had a son in the Navy.

Is this representative of older people, and or the general population?

Thanks if you have any thoughts on this
