Hello all!!
WOW!!! Whatta night...I havent been so happy at work EVER..I am still buzzing and the
show ended hours ago..First off I didnt mean to make anyone feel corny, now that I
know that I was one of the many watchin joni alone like a ritual I feel
awesome...Like I wasnt alone at all.. watching it "cosmically" with my jmdl brothas
and sistas!!!I am counting the hours til I go home so I can watch it again...I feel
like i missed something or I just cant get enough....Im gonna list some of my fave
moments...(in no order)
1- the scenes of Joni chillin with the Laurel canyon crew...(Mamma Cass! I was in
tears.. I love her ) and Joni "boogyin" down at the party..what I would give to see
that and then her singin "you turn me on...for what seems like one of the first
times...
2-could be laurel canyon also but there was a scene where it looked like joni, CSN,
plus some other people hangin outside..it reminded me of me and my friends..
3-All of the references to CACTUS TREE..I have a special place in my heart for that
song so it really made me happy that they featured it alot..
4-Kilauren!!..Whatta beauty..I never knew..And all the scenes of them hangin out in
the yard..Turn on the water works.. Joni looked soo great when she was around her
family..
5-Special Guests...Im glad that Davin Geffen..JT..Crosby...nash..et al..were there to
show support..I really liked the candids of joni and david geffen..and there is a pic
of joni sitting a piano(at home??) with a spiral staircase in the backround...I love
it and I want a poster of it made like NOW..whatta great shot...
I can t list anymore.. I loooooved the whole thing... every
single ounce of it..Im on Joni overload and I need more!!!
i know you all are gonna have a great day if not then re-watch american masters and
you definetly will :P
