That was Malka Marom, described on her web site thusly:   1. author,

Canadian/Israeli celebrity and pioneer in thought and art. 3. an enigma, 
impossible to define. 4. a bird of paradise, colorful, flamboyant, and 
sophisticated.

She interviewed Joni in 1974.  I assume the interview is available on the
