I kind of disagree with this, actually. It would be much easier for me to download these songs from an FTP site and listen to them at my desk at work vs. going through the somewhat complicated process of trading, mailing, waiting, copying, etc. Not everyone has the ability to play MP3 files, but its pretty hassle free for those that do.
