The Philips burner I use does 'gap', however, the gap is only about 1/3 of a 
second...the average disc will have anywhere from 12 to 18 tracks on it, and the 
Philips adds about 3-4 seconds to the CD on average.

Some of the CD's I've rec'd from a CD-write add a full 1-second gap between tracks, 
and I agree it's annoying. Not as much for me as I generally listen in shuffle mode 
anyway.

When you copy those discs on the Philips it will actually DECREASE that gap from the 
full second to the shorter span, which is cool.

In the end, I really don't care...the vast majority of Joni I get is on tapes, and 
I'll transfer it to CD regardless, and as you know am glad to make CD's or tapes, 
whichever is preferred...the important thing is getting it out there and shared, and 
my hat's off to you Mark for all you've done in this regard!
