The Gallery is one I'd really like to know whether or not it has any
basis is reality. I happened to catch part of a program on Diego
Rivera the other night & it was talking about his wife's frustration
with his extra-marital philandering. I think they also said that she
appeared in his paintings. Instantly I thought of The Gallery.
Anybody know anything about The Gallery? Kate?
By the way, Kakki, The Dawntreader is one of my favorites. It always
fills me with a sense of absolute tranquility & peace. Some sadness
too. The line 'and the dream of a baby/like a promise to be
free/children laughing out to sea' is really rather heartbreaking in
light of what we know now. The memory of Kilauren was still very
fresh in her mind when she wrote that one.
