On July 4, 1999 I met Joni in a mom and pop icecream parlor, and noone else
saw her but me. It took alot of courage to approach her, but I did. However,
I was in shock and could barely speak. She was extremely human and open to
me, and after she told me about her medical problems (did she intuitively
know I am a doctor?) she obviously wanted to know about me. I was too stunned
and filled up with feeling and I couldnt speak. The look of disappointment on
her face is one Ill never forget. I hope I meet with her again. Joni is
probably the greatest musical artist of the 20th century.I have heard she
healed herself of polio with visualization. I wish I could hear that story in
greater depth.
