I think I tried to post something about this weeks ago but didn't see my reflection in the mirror so perhaps it got lost in space. In any case, and even if it did appear, this is just a little booster shot, a little reminder that I would love to see any or all of you at my record release party this coming Wednesday, Oct. 11, and/or at the other gigs on this mini-tour of Greater Chicagoland. The new album is called DREAMHOUSE (The Naim Label), and for whatever it's worth, jazz critic Neil Tesser has chosen my record release gig for his Critic's Choice in this week's Chicago Reader, calling DREAMHOUSE "by far the best of the six discs under his own name." But enough about me ... what do you think of me? I hope to see several hundred of my fellow Joni people at one or all of these gigs, and if you dew drop inn, make sure y'all say hello now. *********** FRED SIMON TRIO * RECORD RELEASE PARTY Wednesday, October 11, 2000 * 9:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. The Green Mill Lounge 4802 N.
