Your first post really caught my eye. It was the summer of 1971 and I was
missing my college boyfriend who lived on Oahu (Mokuleia) terribly. My best
friend had also decided to go off to summer school at Univ. of Hawaii and I
was wishing so hard I could have gone in her place. The first postcard she
sent me said, way too casually, "Saw Joni Mitchell last night at this place
called The Shell in Waikiki." Ah, life is so cruel sometimes when you are
18 and in love ;-)

I like your world of Joni map idea. Maybe you can scan a photo of it and
put it on the JMDL website at some point. We actually discussed the idea of
a birthday card like this for Joni a few year back but ultimately thought it
may be too "corporate" or impersonal for that purpose.

Looking forward to hearing more from you and my favorite state ;-)
