I also loved: "Queen Margot" (I have it on video) "Irma Vep" It sort of trailed off at the end but I love Maggie Cheoung (sp?) "Camille Claudel" (It made me cry) "Betty Blue" "La Belle L'Histoire" "Delicatessen" "The Wedding Banquet" (I have it on video) "Eat, Drink, Man, Woman" (made me very hungry) "Like Water for Chocolate" "Farinelli" (I have it on video) A German movie about a man who discovers that he is unable to father children with his mistress. He realises that his wife has been unfaithful as he has two kids. He tries to set his wife up and enlists the help of his brother the priest. Anyone have a clue? I could just keep going and going. I also love Gong Li movies and "Farewell My Concubine" is superb. "Raise the Red Lantern" etc are fabulous, I can't remember the director's name though? Ness
