born in NY, NY where i lived for 3 months until
i was adopted and grew up on long island (NY), 3 years in one house in
Huntington, 14 years in another.
went to school in boston for 2 years, lived in warren towers and in an
apartment in allston
went to school in NYC for 2 years, lived in tribeca
moved home for 2 years until i couldn't stand it. a heartbreaking split
with a boyfriend was the final push to
northern virginia where i lived with a friend's family and became a
foster parent of 2 children for 2 years. when they moved back with
their mother, i moved
to the mount pleasant neighborhood of DC to a cheap but nice basement
apartment where i had no stove. i lived there for 5 years, which was a
long enough time paying low rent to save up a down payment for a house
8 blocks away in the same neigborhood. still pine for NYC, but have a
house with a yard near the park with a dog and a parking space (1
bedroom closet not near park is about what i could afford in NYC)...
