I strongly recommend catching this appearance. Joni's art director, Robbie
Cavolina, has been sort of managing her as I understand it, and has been
greatly involved with her shows here at the Atlas Bar and Grill in L.A. on
Tuesday nights. I saw the show earlier this year and was truly amazed. She
has led at least nine lives and has suffered through many hardships
including ill health, disability and drug addiction, but she still is going
very strong at 80! I had wondered where she was because her show at the
Atlas hasn't been listed in the LA Weekly lately and I was worried about
her. This is great news!
