We just got back from a vacation up north. I am saddened by the news of Kenny's death. We didn't write each other off list much except for a B-Day greeting here and there. I was fortunate to meet Kenny at Jonifest 99 and 2000. Kenny was always there to make you feel at home. I had the pleasure of driving with him from, and to the airport in 99..... so many Joni stories. I also found myself outside much of the time at Ashara's. Kenny was always outside. We got to talk a bit.... This is just a small example, but it gives you a sense of what a great and caring person Kenny was: I had arrived at Ashara's after midnight. I had no sooner set up my tent(with a little help from my friends), when it started to drizzle. Not alot of rain, but Kenny insisted that I take the tent down and sleep on the couch in Ashara's porch. He was so adamant about it that I was actually mad. We argued back and forth; he wouldn't let up! He assisted in taking the tent down, and I can't tell you how grateful I was the following morning. There was a pouring rain that night. My heartfelt condolences to Steve and Kenny's family and friends. See ya Kenny, jody
