I had that sense of Joni too whenever I saw her at the Mendel --
compassionate, humble (yes! I watched her facial expressions quite
closely and she appeared as a person who is confident in her own self
but not arrogant at all - folks do tend to confuse the two) and very
responsive to those around her and the situation she's in. A very alive
woman, with a definite aura of "someone special" that is natural and
emanates from within. A big spirit there, that's for sure.
