Now I'm reminded of the big maple tree that grew in the front yard of
the house I grew up in. I used to love to 'climb up in the branches
just to sway there in some breeze.' I used to get as near to the top
as I could. Our house was on a hill and this tree was very tall.
About all that was visible from up there was a sea of trees (Bilbo
climbing the tree in Mirkwood always reminded me of it) and I remember
I could see one of the buildings way downtown on the bluff overlooking
the Mississippi.

Trees are miraculous beings.
