Actually, my guess is that because of her post-polio syndrome and other
factors, she doesn't have the hand strength or digital dexterity to play
guitar in that style, not that anyone would really want her to.
She's a chord strummer. Any expectations that Joni could play like Jimi
Hendrix or Jimmy Page or comparisons to pickers or virtuosos are ludicrous.
