Yep. Redwood National Forest is awe inspiring. I saw the same herd when I
was there in late June before I dog-eared it up to Saskatoon for the
"voices" opening. When I visited Fern Canyon, however it was a little
foggy. I'd bet that in bright light after a shower it's a Cathedral! I
shot some B&W in the forest off the beaten path that was the best subject I
ever had. I hope I carried some of that chi up north, and then home. Worth
a trip from anywhere, and what's really great is that the cell phone service
stinks there! Fly to Arcata/Eureka airport (the second most foggy in the
country) and stay in Arcata which is a really funky, artsy college town.
There's some night life there and good eats too.
