Yes Wally, and it would be great to have one more buddy to writhe and gasp
ecstatic with at his shows! His shows are always soaring beyond belief
(think Elton's virtuosity meets Stevie Wonder) and the club is the size of
my living room. He also has a fantastic personality and sometimes tells
little "days with Rickie Lee" stories. He also used to work with Bonnie
Raitt and wrote the song "Cry On My Shoulder" for her "Nick of Time" album.
(He has joked that the royalties from that one afforded his semi-retirement
in Maui). His original songs are gorgeous beyond belief.
