Exactly.  In your book.  This thread was started by Steve as "who is your
FAVOURITE guitarist" and has grown to include other instruments.  Nowhere
was it suggested that these lists are "the people who are the best at what
they do, in the opinion of those qualified enough to judge".  Somehow the
subject title has got changed along the way as well.

I put Carole King on my list, because she is one of my favourite pianists.
Full stop.  I don't care if she's not "good enough" to impress the purists,
or whatever.  She's still my second favourite pianist after Joni.

Sorry, but I just get annoyed when people submit a list like this, and
someone responds with a "your choices aren't good enough".  My opinion (and
that's all it is) is as valid as anyone elses.
