It depends on the situation. Some songs just due to my station in life make we weep like a blubbering idiot. It makes my wife laugh she is always saying you know that is impressive that a man 6'7" can cry like that (I am not asking for sympathy here). Probably for me when a Joni song made be weep was when Jody Denberg played "Both Sides Now" before the release and dedicated it to Wally. All the emotion of the moment was tied to that. "I looked at life from Both Side Now" had me weeping in my car. I would call "River" a good crying song (especially now since central texas is about to wash away).
