I know I went overboard here but I couldn't my emotions took over.

-John Prine - Hello in there...lo.
-Joni Mitchell - Refuge of the Roads. In a highway service station
over the month of June was a photograph of the earth taken coming
back from the moon. And you couldn't see a city on that marbled
bowling ball, or a forest or a highway, or me here least of all. You
couldn't see these cold water restrooms or this baggage overload,
westbound and rolling taking refuge in the roads. That says it for
me.
-Fleetwood Mac - Future Games(LP same title)- Why Don't You Love
Me(Mystery to Me) Maybe the saddest love song I've ever heard."There
is now use in crying it's all over, but I know it won't
always be that way"....Just the way Cristine sings that is almost to
much to bear.
-Patty Loveless - How Can I Help You, to Say Goodbye. This too is
almost too much.
-Genesis - Ripples(A Trick of the Tail)"The face in the water looks
up, and shakes it's head as if to say. That it's the last time
you'll look like today. Sail away, away. Ripples never come back.
We'll dive to the bottom and come to the top, to see where they have
gone. They've gone to the other side. Ripples never come back" What
else is there to say?
-Grateful Dead - He's gone(Europe '72 tour LP)."Like a steam
locomotive rolling down the track, he's gone gone and nothing's
gonna bring him back. He's gone.
-Rolling Stones - Moonlight Mile(Sticky Fingers .One of their best.
-Seldom Scene(w/ L. Ronstadt) - California Earthquake. California
earthquake, you just don't know what you've done. You can almost
"smell" the devastation of that massive earthquake on the people of
that area in the 1800's.
-X - See How We Are -" Put bars on all our windows...See how we are".
That says everything about how we have become.

Sorry this took so much space. I'm sitting here singing these songs
as I write and wishing I had the talent to put songs together like
this. And, there's so many more. Thanks for reading.
