Just went out and voted. Folks were waiting in line at 6:30 a.m. in my
district.
US citizents please cast your ballot today. I wouldn't dream of telling you
how
to vote, just exercise your privilege to do so. Such a wonderful gift and
so many
individuals take it for granted.
Not sure if this song was listed, but "Imagine" by John Lennon always makes
me
cry, no matter where I am or what the circumstances are. When I first heard
of
his death on the radio they followed the announcement with "Imagine". This
song
will be forever linked to the sad news of John Lennon's passing for me.
Happy songs...there is one guilty pleasure that I must confess to..."Walking
on
Sunshine" by???? That song always gets my feet up to dance.
