Walter,
Even though Florida has become a mixture of all the northern states and
Canadians, I was raised on good ole southern cooking. My mom could (and
still can) whip up the best fried chicken, or fried fish, or hush puppies.
Everything while I was growing up was fried. (now just my brain is :~>). We
would have mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, blackeyed peas, apple
sauce, and a delicious peach cobbler for dessert.
Oh the good ole days. Now Ashara has gotten hold of my Mom, so she just
cooks tofu (YUCK) :~)
Hope that helps some!
Jimmy
